Not only are we one of the largest fresh produce distributors in the Midwest, but we are also one of the largest potato repackers in the U.S with a full line of potato varieties including Russet, Idaho, Red, white, Yukon Gold and Fingerling.

Our Yukon and Red varieties are available in 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 10 lb bags to meet any retailer needs and are packaged in a high quality poly/mesh that allows for excellent product visibility while still providing a bag designed for high consumer appeal.

Citrus

In addition to potatoes, Castellini Company services customers with citrus repack options including 2 lb lemons and 4 and 8 lb oranges. We utilize a make-to-order process to ensure the freshest, highest quality citrus packs, alleviating any quality problems that may have developed while en route from shipping point. Castellini can provide private and grower label options to match your needs.

Tomatoes

Grant County Foods, a repacking and ripening arm of the Castellini Group of Companies, is one of the Midwest's largest tomato repacking and ripening facilities with year round sourcing capabilities. We offer over 30 UPC labeled tomato packs for rounds, romas, grapes, cherries, hot house, yellow and on-the-vine. We also offer vine ripe tomatoes, including locally grown.

Our leading edge technology with the Aweta sorting and sizing equipment delivers superior repacking services to both foodservice and retail customers.

Onions

Grant County also offers traditional 2, 3, and 5 lb retail onion packs in vexar netting as well as soft net/ header packs for red, white and yellow onions. Our size allows us to buy multiple loads of onions in 50# Bags, 2000# Totes, and 1250# bins from all growing areas throughout the year based on product quality and availability.

Our facility and equipment provide us the flexibility of packing your retail onion orders to the specific LTL order or straight load volume you need. In addition, we have invested in a dedicated onion cooler that allows us to have continuous air movement through our onions, which extends the shelf life of this commodity.
